Christos founded Velistar in 2014 with the aspiration to create a business that is dedicated to improving our clients’ workplaces through technology. From his own work as a solo consultant and past professional experience, he had learned first-hand that good design and smart automation can alleviate tedium tasks and give more space for creativity and growth at work.

Panel Planner
This project required a Claris FileMaker database to store airplane panels and instruments. This database served as a backend repository to a commercial Java program. The integration was through FileMaker’s Data API to construct custom XML files to be used by the Java program for data transfer.
Also, the Claris FileMaker solution serves as an admin console for the owner to make updates to the database. In addition, the admin console includes a custom web viewer to display instrument images and their dimensions.
Clinic and Laboratory Management System
A management system build in Claris FileMaker 2023 running on a local server with 8 users on Windows, Mac and iPad. The system is bilingual (English and Serbian) and serves both a Clinic and Laboratory all-in-one.
Taxi Invoicing System
A re-engineering project from an old DOS program to a modern standalone Claris FileMaker runtime solution.
